How AI Can Help Create Powerful Quizzes for Lead Generation
Attracting the right prospects is key to growing your service-based business.
This week, we explore how AI tools and prompts can help you create powerful quizzes in half the time, turning interested prospects into loyal clients.
P.s if you haven’t already filled in this survey, please do, so that I can cater these newsletters, specifically if you run a service or e-commerce based business as the AI tool recommendations would be different.
Spotlight
Quizzes can produce remarkable results for lead generation, resulting in an average opt-in rate of up to 55% - that’s 25X better than traditional online forms like pop-ups (1.95).
Here is why quizzes can be a game-changer:
Personalisation: 66% of consumers will abandon a brand that fails to personalise. Quizzes allow you to segment your audience (based on their results) and tailor your marketing messaging and campaigns accordingly.
Insights: Marketers who use AI to personalise emails see a 41% increase in revenue and a 13.44% increase in CTR.
Real World Success: Paige Brunton, Web Designer turned Course Creator, generated 10K leads from her quiz, while Leisa generated an impressive 20K leads from her quiz.
Quiz AI Toolbox

Generative Pre-training Transformer (GPT)
GPT’s are designed to generate human-like text in response to a prompt which you supply. The more in-depth the detailed the prompt, the better the reply. We use GPT (e.g. ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude) in this instance to help:
Create ideas for quizzes
Craft subject lines, email previews, and outlines for email sequences
Generate landing page copy
Note: To effective produce content for your quizzes and resources, your prompts need to be specific. You need to clearly understand your end goal, target audience and their pain points.
Price: All have free versions, Claude Pro, ChatGPT & Gemini Advanced is is $20p/m

Score App
Score app is a dedicated quiz platform that integrates with email marketing platforms such as Klaviyo, Hubspot and ActiveCampaign. It’s AI capabilities include:
the AI setup wizard to set your primary goal (e.g., generate new leads)
asking direct questions about your business and what you want to help your clients improve, achieve, or prevent to create a more personalised quiz
generating a title, questions (which you can modify), and tells you how much creation time it's saved you using AI vs. doing it manually
Creates a landing page and results sections, allowing you to add sections to an existing landing page
Price: Free plans available, or $39 per month for the monthly plan.
Why use it? If you're serious about using quizzes as a lead generation source, Scope App provides valuable insights and data for informed decision-making, cutting the time in half to create a quiz with the content necessary to launch it. Using this could remove the need and use of GPT to create that content.
Prompts
The following prompts are to be used in your choice of GPT.
They should be utilised in the following order (Prompt 1 to 4) as it takes you through the process of first understanding your audience so that you can create a quiz that your prospects will want to complete.
Prompt 1: I am a [insert what you do] and I help [insert what you help your clients achieve] and I want you to act as my business coach and help me create a lead magnet. Before we create the lead magnet I want you to have an in-depth understanding of my audience and their pain points so that the lead magnet can be useful. Provide me with all the questions I need to answer to help you identify who my audience is and what their 10 top pain points are.
— wait for output/response —
Prompt 2: With my top 10 pain points, can you create a table with the following information for each pain point: What is the Pain Point? Why it exists? How can I help bridge the gap to eliminate this pain point and common statements they make about the pain point.
— wait for output/response —
Prompt 3: Taking the information about what I do, who my audience is and their pain points, can you provide me with a list of 10 quiz ideas.
— wait for output/response —
Prompt 4: Let's focus on [idea #] Can you now provide me with 10 questions I can ask, with 3 possible answers (a,b,c), and provide the 3 results someone may get from participating in the quiz?
P.s If you use these prompts, let me know if they are helpful.
